This is a painting of the beautiful Luskentyre beach with a dark sky hinting at a potential storm on a summers day but with enough light for the grass to be bright and vibrant. This is on the Isle of Harris in Scotland and if you haven’t been you really should! One of my favourite places to paint, it’s incredibly inspirational for me and although I’ve painted many pieces it’s one subject I could paint forever.
